Since the independent transport refrigeration unit has a separate power output source, the refrigeration performance is stable and reliable, and the cargo in the refrigerated train will not rot due to the stall of the refrigerated truck or the engine failure of the refrigerated truck. However, due to the addition of a power system, the independent transport of the refrigeration unit in maintenance and repair is more complicated than the non-independent transport refrigeration unit, and the price is also high.
Stand-alone units are generally used in refrigerated trucks with a length of 4-9 meters. Most of the common 6X2 and 8X4 refrigerated trucks in China use such medium-sized independent transport refrigeration units.
Large refrigerator: trailer transport refrigeration unit
Large transport refrigeration units are mainly used on semi-trailer refrigerated trucks, which are larger than the independent units used in 8X4 refrigerated trucks. In terms of structure, it is also different from the independent units used in vehicles such as 8X4. The trailer units are often hung in the front part of the trailer. Therefore, in the vehicle transportation refrigeration unit industry, the trailer transportation refrigeration units are often divided into one category.
Trailer transport refrigeration units are generally placed in the front of the trailer, and many people are used to calling this cold machine as an on-hook. The trailer unit comes with an engine. Take a domestic brand hang-up as an example. The 26.5 kW 2.2-liter diesel engine is used to power the unit and can be applied to a 13-16-meter refrigerated semi-trailer.
Most of China's refrigerated trucks are converted from second-hand sea cabinets. These second-hand sea cabinets were originally refrigerated containers, and will use the transport refrigeration unit on the original second-hand sea cabinets. Therefore, it is not a vehicle transport refrigeration unit in a strict sense.
