The role of transport refrigeration units on cargo

The transport refrigeration unit is not a cold storage. In many people's concept, the refrigeration unit on the transport refrigeration unit is free to freeze or heat the cargo loaded into the train to the necessary temperature. In fact, the refrigeration unit is used to maintain the temperature of the cargo, not to reduce the temperature of the cargo. It's a bit like the quilt used in the past to sell cold drinks, wrap the goods to keep the temperature of the cold drink. The transport refrigeration unit is when the outside temperature enters the compartment of the transport refrigeration unit through radiation, conduction and convection, it will be taken away by the cold air blown out by the refrigeration unit to insulate the heat source into the cargo to ensure the temperature of the cargo.

If the goods with too high or too low temperature are loaded into the compartment of the transport refrigeration unit, and then the refrigeration unit is set to the necessary transport temperature of the transported goods, it is desirable to reduce or raise the temperature of the goods to the necessary temperature for a certain period of time. . This can only be done in fact, but the goods can not only fail to fall (or not rise), but will cause damage or deterioration of the goods.

The cold air blown out by the refrigeration unit will change the temperature of the cargo, and the moisture of the cargo will be lost, which will lead to quality changes of the cargo, resulting in a decline in the quality of the cargo, a shortened storage period, and even corruption of the cargo.

It is very likely that you will pull a car with fresh beans, and the destination bean will be more "dry", the weight will be reduced a lot, causing trouble. This is also why transport refrigeration units generally go to the cold storage, and rarely go to the field to directly pull the goods.
