How to set the temperature of goods in cold chain transportation?

Feb 25,2022View: 121

Recently, it has been discovered that many customers engaged in refrigerated truck transportation are not quite clear about the temperature required for the goods being transported, and even think that the lower the temperature of the refrigerated truck refrigerator, the better.

In fact, we should set it according to the storage temperature required for various items. Take fruits and vegetables as an example. Too low temperature during food transport refrigeration can easily cause frostbite, while low temperature meat products can be stored for a long time.

During the transportation of the refrigerated truck, we can adjust the temperature through the temperature regulator in the cab. Then, before adjusting the temperature of the food truck refrigerator, we must know what is the most suitable temperature for various foods during transportation?

 Fish and meat preservation area

0~2℃

Generally fresh meat is suitable for this temperature range: raw bacon, raw pork, raw beef, raw chicken, raw lamb, raw ham, eggs, pork sausage, smoked bacon, salted ham.

Variable temperature cold storage area

-2~-14℃

Foods suitable for this temperature range are: margarine, cheese, condensed milk, whipped cream, butter, etc.

Quick freezing area

-18~-21℃

Foods suitable for this temperature are: ice cream, frozen fruit, concentrated juice, frozen fish, frozen beef, frozen lamb, frozen pork, frozen chicken, and frozen ham.
