The insulated car is a special vehicle designed to transport fresh, perishable goods such as fish, meat, fresh fruit and vegetables. Because such goods must maintain a certain temperature, humidity and ventilation during transportation. Therefore, the body of the heat preservation car is equipped with heat insulation material, and the vehicle is provided with a cooling device, a heating device, a temperature measuring device and a ventilation device, and has three properties of refrigeration, heat preservation and heating; and the transportation refrigeration unit is generally used. It is used to transport frozen food (frozen cars), dairy products (milk transport vehicles), vegetables and fruits (fresh goods transport vehicles), vaccine drugs (vaccine transport vehicles) and other special-purpose vehicles, with refrigeration and heat preservation functions.

From the point of view of temperature control, the transport refrigeration unit is equipped with a refrigeration unit, the temperature can reach minus 10-18 °C, not only can maintain the temperature of the cargo itself, but also continue to freeze the cargo. The temperature of the insulated car can only be maintained at 3-4 degrees below zero, only the temperature of the cargo itself can be maintained, and the farther the transport distance is, the greater the temperature difference exists.
In terms of transportation distance, the transport refrigeration unit is suitable for long-distance transportation of a large number of goods, while the heat preservation vehicle is only suitable for the short-distance urban transportation of less goods.
Of course, in addition to the above differences, the insulation truck and the transport refrigeration unit have much in common, that is, the same in the production process of the car body, and the “sandwich” plate-bonding type of the assembled piece is used. At present, the large domestic insulation and refrigeration unit manufacturers adopt this technology, and the insulation and refrigeration unit produced by this technology has high insulation performance.
