Refrigeration unit for box truck is used for refrigerated truck. It can supply the truck’s container with continuous cool air and keep the container in a constant low temperature, so it can be used to transport the quick-frozen food, dairy food, vegetable and fruit, seafood, vaccine etc.
Composition of refrigeration unit for box truck
The Unit is composed by four basic components, evaporator, compressor, condenser and throttle valve, they are connected by pipes and form a closed system, refrigerant circulates in this system and complete the whole refrigeration process.
Working principle
1.The compressor constricts the refrigerant vapor, raising its pressure, and pushes it into the coils on the outside of the refrigerator.
2.When the hot gas in the coils meets the cooler air temperature of the kitchen, it becomes a liquid.
3.Now in liquid form at high pressure, the refrigerant cools down as it flows into the coils inside the freezer and the fridge.
4.The refrigerant absorbs the heat inside the fridge, cooling down the air.
5. Last, the refrigerant evaporates to a gas, then flows back to the compressor, where the cycle starts all over.
In this way, the refrigerant in the refrigeration unit for box truck completes a refrigeration cycle through the four basic processes of evaporation, compression, condensation, and throttling.
Classification
According to power source, it can be divided into engine direct drive, diesel engine, battery driven,and standby units driven.
According to mounted positions, it can be divided into roof top mounted, front mounted, bottom side mounted and back mounted.
If classified according to Refrigeration temperature, it can be divide into cooler (chiller) -5 to 5 centigrade we use R 134A as the refrigerant .and frozen which can reach -18 centigrade with R404 A refrigerant. If setting the temperature on a high level, the frozen unit can be used for cooling. The frozen unit also can be used for cooling with a big volume truck. The R404A system can use the R134A refrigerant, but the R134A system can not use the R404A refrigerant.
