Recently Our Oceanian partner shared a new installation case of 12v electric van refrigeration unit C300TB to us. This time 12v electric van refrigeration unit C300TB is installed on a Toyota Hiace reefer van. The reefer van is used to transport dairy product, mostly fresh milk.
Grade A milk is usually strictly produced, processed and packaged for food safety consideration. Although such products are pasteurized before being offered to retailers, they still need to be stored and shipped at relatively low temperatures. The pasteurization method for raw milk is the low-temperature method, where the raw milk is heated to 62.8 ℃ or above for at least 30 minutes, or the high-temperature method, where the raw milk is heated to 71.7℃ or above for at least 15 seconds, and then cooled rapidly. These pasteurizations will certainly neutralize the pathogenic microorganisms and extend the shelf life, but grade A milk should still be stored at 7 ° c or below, where bacterial growth will be most limited. To ensure quality, storage and transport temperatures are required to be below 4 ℃. That’s why the customer need electric freezer for vans to deliver dairy products.
The van has already been converted into a refrigerated van by the customer himself, so the insulation foam is added before they drive to our partner. The cargo space is about 6m3 which is a medium size cargo container type for our electric van refrigeration unit series. The C300TB 12V electric van refrigeration unit is not only compatible with original vehicle electric system, but also effectively cools containers of this size to -5 ° c. The 600CCA original battery can be continuously cooled when the engine stops.In addition, our partners helped add and increase alternator output current to 130Amp (the original 80Amp plus an additional 50Amp) to ensure sufficient power to support C300TB. Onsite test results were finally cooled to 0℃ within 25 minutes at ambient temperature of about 25℃. Both the customer and our partner are very satisfied.
