For cold chain logistics companies, truck refrigeration units are one of the most important modules, It guarantees that the goods remain fresh after reaching their destination. That's why it's important to perform routine upkeep on your unit between routine service.

 

1. Consistently Clean the Cover

Try to schedule a thorough cleaning of your refrigeration unit cover. Using a soft brush, scrub the shelves and surface with water and detergent. Although this is not necessary, a clean shell will make it easier for customers to trust you.

2. Regularly Clean the Condenser

You should clean your refrigeration units condenser. Most manufacturers recommend cleaning once every three months, and many manuals provide specific cleaning tips. If dirty or dusty, it can be difficult to maintain temperature, causing overheating and component failure.

3. Regularly Clean the Evaportor

Like the condenser, the evaporator coil is a vital component to your refrigeration unit. The evaporator is located by the evaporator fan and is responsible for absorbing heat as warm air passes through the refrigeration system, helping cool the unit's interior.

4. Refrigerant

The liquid line sight glass should be clear and full of liquid refrigerant during normal operation. If not, find and repair the leak, then fill sufficient refrigerant into the system to maintain a clear sight.

5. Wiring&hose

Make sure that all electrical connections in the switchboard are tightened. Also, the pipes should be checked regularly for leaks.
