Why should truck refrigeration system precool in advance?

Feb 25,2022View: 78

The temperature controller of vehicle refrigeration unit is set at the required temperature to pre-cool for one and a half hours, in order to drain the heat remaining in the refrigeration box and make the temperature inside close to the ambient temperature.

Because the refrigerated vehicle is usually parked at the side of the road waiting for goods, if the refrigerated box is not pre-cooled, then the goods are likely to be damaged because of the ambient temperature.

In addition, if the refrigerated box is loaded without pre-cooling, there will temperature difference. As a result, the temperature of the refrigerated box is not even and the goods may be damaged.

As an added note, when loading and unloading please remember to turn off the truck refrigeration unit. Because if the truck refrigeration unit is working, the front of the fan is positive pressure and the back is negative pressure. Cool air blows out from the top of the car, which then draws in the hot air from the outside, resulting in refrigerated box temperature rise quickly. If truck refrigeration equipment is temporarily shut down, the wind pressure inside and outside the box is consistent, and make the external heat to enter the refrigerated box more slowly.
